Know Your Blocks!

This page will be about understanding the programming blocks that we will be mainly using in the programs yet to come! If you want to master the Mindstorms Programming Language, it is key that you learn what the basic functions of each programming block.

There are three different palettes of programming blocks in Mindstorms.
1. Common Palette, for beginners and intermediate Mindstorms programmers. This palette is the base of Mindstorms programming, anything you need for a successful program is in here.
2. Complete Palette, for anyone who wants more than Common Palette. We suggest you master using all blocks in the Common Palette first.
3. Custom Palette, for experts, who make whole programs into little blocks! The Custom Palette is made up of "My Blocks"!
